Convocation

15th Convocation of the institute was held on 25th
November, 2019. The founder of Art of Living Foundation Sri
Sri Ravishankar Ji delivered the convocation address and advised
the degree receipients not to be anxious about future. Focus on
making the best use of time, skills, talent and opportunities in the
present and future will fall in place. Thousands of his devotees
also thronged in the institute to have the blessings of the Guruji.
Director Professor Lalit Kumar Awasthi presented the annual report
of the institute citing the various achievements of the students and
faculty members of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar. In the
end, the Director exhorted them to maintain high standards
and ethics. A total of 908 degrees were awarded, out
of which 31 were PhDs. Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji and
Professor Lubos Hes of Technical University of
Liberec, Czech Republic were conferred
with Honorary PhD degrees during
the convocation.
