First convocation is a memorable event in the life of any institute. The
faculty and staff members of the institute went through great pains to
set up a venue in a pandal and adequate seating arrangement for degree
receipents and visitors. First Convocation of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Regional
Engineering College Jalandhar was held on November 8th 1994. Sardar
Beant Singh, Honourable Chief Minister, Punjab awarded degrees to the
first batch students (1989-1993). Smt Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Honourable
Minister of Technical Education and Industrial Training presided over the
Compendium 2021
function.
