hostel (BH-
1) was established in July
1989 with a capacity of 75 triple
seater rooms. Sutlej hostel (BH- 2) was established
in July 1991 with a capacity of 75 triple seater rooms.
Beas (BH- 3)and Ravi hostel (BH- 4) were established in
September 1992 and June 1993 with a capacity of 150
single seater rooms in each hostel. Chenab Hostel (BH- 5)
was established in July 1994 with a capcaity of 129 single
seater rooms. Jhelum (BH- 6) and Brahmaputra hostel (BH-
7) were established in July 2004 and 2008 with a capacity of
150 and 202 seats. Brahmaputra hostel (BH- 7) extension was
established in July 2012 with 135 single seater room capacity.
