am happy to share that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of
I Technology, Jalandhar is releasing the compendium of its journey of
completing 34 years in the field of technical education.

Since its inception in 1986, the institute has grown remarkably in
academics and infrastructure development.
I would acknowledge placing on record the progress of the institute
throughout its journey and during the last two years especially in NIRF
rankings, wherein the Institute has got a big achievement by getting
49th rank in the year 2021 & 52nd rank in the year 2020, which was
at 113th rank in the year 2019. The Institute has also appeared in the
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar
prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) rankings at the global level.

The Institute has also made tremendous progress in academic,
infrastructure & research fields. The Institute has also made major
achievement in recruitment process during the last three years and to
overcome the shortage of faculty, officers and staff various recruitments
have been made at all levels.

On this occasion, I congratulate all the faculty, staff, alumni and
students for their concerted efforts in making this Institute a premier
Institute in the country.
