The day that can make the eyes filled with joy ends with tears, the Farewell party "Au Revoir" was organized by Physical Science Society (Department of Physics) on April 23, 2022 in Central Seminar Hall where students of Physics Department bid farewell to the outgoing students of Batch 2020 with great enthusiasm and of course reminiscing the moments that we spent in the campus in the past two years.
The function was inaugurated with Lamp Lighting Ceremony, done by Dr. Praveen Malik, Dr. Aravind Kumar, Dr. Kiran Singh, Dr. Shishram Rebari, Dr. Suneel Dutt and Dr. Vinod Ashokan. The programme commenced with the address by the faculties present there, where they spoke the encouraging words of wisdom for the outgoing students and their hope in the outgoing students that they will continue in holding up the pride and legacy of the institute.
The juniors as well as seniors presented their talents that included dance and song performances. The juniors conducted the "Mr. and Miss. Farewell Contest" which was judged by the eminent faculties present there. The title was won by Adarsh Jain and Pratibha Punia respectively. Exciting games were also included that were enjoyed by all.
Token of love and appreciation was given to the seniors by juniors at the end of the ceremony. The farewell programme concluded with the dinner and dj organized for the whole Department of Physics.
As the saying goes " Every ending is the beginning of new things", the day marks the beginning of new hopes and new dreams, where they can fly high and conquer new heights.
