Brief Research Profile: : Dr. Gaurav Kumar has done Post-doctoral research in the area of Financial Data Analytics at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. He has obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi. He has studied the liquidity of midcap stocks as an area of research for his doctoral thesis. He holds an engineering degree in Computer science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Allahabad. He has industry experience in SAP ERP consulting while working for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He has received many awards and grants including UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). His research work is presented at various International conferences at American Economic Association (USA), ICMA center (London), Corvinus University (Hungary), La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia), IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Kanpur. Recently, he has published in top-tier journals viz. European Journal of Finance (Taylor and Francis: ABS “3”, SSCI, ABDC “A”, Scopus), Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance (Elsevier: SSCI, ABDC “A”, Scopus), and Asian Journal of Economics (Elsevier: SSCI, ABDC “B”, Scopus). His broad research interest includes Stock markets, Corporate Finance and Financial Analytics.
